Which certifications does a storage battery need to be exported to the EU?

The battery regulation, EMC and Low Voltage directives under CE marking, plus IEC safety testing and UN 38.3.

You need to satisfy the relevant regulations under CE marking: Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 on batteries, the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, and where applicable the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. Safety testing is normally based on IEC 62619, IEC 62620 or IEC 63056; transport additionally requires a UN 38.3 test report. A technical file, DoC and compliant labelling are also required.
