# EU battery regulation: the six datasets to prepare now

> Obligations and timelines for carbon footprint, recycled content, due diligence, battery passport, labelling and the CE declaration.

The EU battery regulation places six data-preparation obligations on manufacturers: material and energy data for the carbon footprint declaration, supply-chain evidence for recycled content, a due diligence policy with third-party verification records, model and life-cycle data for the battery passport, labelling and QR code information, and the technical file behind the CE declaration of conformity. Build a per-model data ledger and run it in parallel with certification testing to avoid rework at the filing stage.
