# SASO / SABER · SASO Certificate of Conformity (SABER)

Saudi Arabia's mandatory market-access scheme. A Product Certificate (PC) is obtained on the SABER platform first, then a shipment Certificate of Conformity (CoC) per consignment; customs clearance relies on the CoC. IECEE reports can support the assessment.

| Marking rules | Labels must carry Arabic information; energy-related products have additional energy-label requirements. A CoC is tied to a specific shipment and cannot be reused. |
| Validity and upkeep | Product Certificates are typically renewed annually; CoCs are issued per shipment. |
