# EAC · EAC mark (Eurasian Economic Union)

The mandatory mark shared by Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other EAEU members, based on the TR CU / TR EAEU technical regulations. Two routes exist: certificate of conformity and declaration of conformity.

| How it is obtained | Test against the applicable TR CU / TR EAEU. The certificate route usually requires a factory audit. Documentation must be in Russian and the applicant must be a legal entity within the Union. |
| Marking rules | The EAC mark must be legible and indelible on the product or packaging and correspond to the certificate or declaration number. |
| Validity and upkeep | Certificates typically run one to five years; declarations follow the regulation, with surveillance in between. |
